What We Do

Wish Unit

Western Iowa Survivors of Homicide and Other Violent Crimes program (WISH Unit) works with families and survivors of homicide victims, as well as victims and survivors of violent crimes.  The program was developed to ensure survivors’ rights, safety, and healing were given priority and quality care.  When a tragedy strikes, we understand the traumatic experience often carries great physical, emotional or financial harm.

The WISH Unit has certified Crime Victim Specialists to help victims and survivors navigate the justice system, as well as the emotional journey that lies ahead.  Services are completely free and confidential.  Our professional and compassionate staff will work with you as long as you need.

Our services can include:
