Why We Need Your Support

There’s a common misconception that we’re grant-funded, so we don’t need charitable gifts.

In actuality, we’re only able to fulfill our mission with the support of many generous supporters.

Understanding our budget can help you understand exactly why we need your support. Family Crisis Centers has an annual budget of just over $3.5 million. Grant funding covers around $2.5 million of our budget, leaving approximately $1 million to fundraise each year.

Support for the remainder of our budget comes from communities, individual donors, businesses, county government, fundraisers, a thrift store, and other community foundation grants.
