Where Does Your Money Go?
We’re proud to say that 80 cents of every dollar spent provides safety, healing, and freedom for people needing help. The other 20 cents are crucial in helping us carry out our mission because that’s what helps keep Family Crisis Centers running. We need the other 20 cents to support essential, everyday business operations. Some of these operations include volunteer coordination, HR management of 60 employees, essential administration, critical fundraising efforts, marketing communications, and other support services. Without these essential operations, Family Crisis Centers would struggle to carry out its mission of serving and supporting others.
On average, it costs $867 per person to serve a client with in-person advocacy and $20.78 per phone call to provide help to callers through our crisis line. While this average might vary slightly year over year, it’s in line with the annual expenses used to carry out our services. Your donations help ensure we have the resources we need to provide life-changing and life-saving care to people who need it.
