What We Do

Iowa Victim Service Call Center

The Call Center is a statewide program operated by Family Crisis Centers and funded through the Iowa Attorney General’s Office.  The Call Center employs professional and compassionate staff that are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  There is always an advocate available to answer calls and texts.  Staff have been extensively trained to assist callers of all crime.  Anyone in Iowa can call or text.  Services are completely free and always confidential. 

Who Can Call?

Any victim or survivor of crime in Iowa can call or text any day or time.  If you just need to talk or want to know what resources are available in your area, the advocates are here for you.  Below are some of the crimes callers have been victimized by:
